That Africa is the world’s second-largest and second-most-populous continent? At about 30.2 million km² including adjacent islands, it covers six percent of the Earth’s total surface area and 20.4 percent of the total land area. Did you also know that Africa could hold the land occupied by China, India, Europe, Argentina, New Zealand and the continental United States, with room to spare!
Just imagine what we can do with all that land? We can feed the whole world if we try. Not to talk about the mineral deposits in our shores – we can be the richest, most developed continent in the world if only we can stop the crisis, the hunger and suffering for a while and sit down to think. If only we know what to do, we can stop looking outward and look inwards. We can discover what we can do with the abundance God has deposited in our land – Africa.
