HONOR

Have you ever realized that when you honor someone you simply give way for your rewards? Wow! Honor has a tremendous, transforming reward. Surely, the breakthrough that you are looking for will come through honor. Therefore what is Honor? Can you dishonor someone with your heart and thought? What happens when people walk in honor? Honor is defined as: “value, appreciate, esteem, respect, regard favorably. “To value, to see as weighty and precious.” (John Bevere, Honor’s Reward). Honor can restrict and also release your potentials. Jesus was restricted to heal though the power of God was present to heal the people.

Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in [a]his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household.” And He could do no [b]miracle there except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.” Mark 6:4-5

We can stop God tremendous power in action via dishonor. When we honor someone we honor the one that send him. We are living in day and age when authority is no longer honored. (media influence). God’s Word, however, commands us to give honor where honor is due (Rom. 13:7).

In this message and book, John Bevere expatiates and gives us the benefits of honor, levels of authority, danger of dishonor, etc.  and its importance to a nation and a people.
